The relevant resolution was signed by Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev. The amendments were made to Resolution No. 21 of January 22, 2026, which regulates the allocation of tariff benefits for imported electric vehicles.

Under the new document, the provision of tariff benefits shall now be guided not only by Decision No. 111 of the Eurasian Economic Commission Council dated December 5, 2025, but also by the EEC Council’s new Decision No. 79 of July 9, 2026.

The national procedure is thus being brought into line with the latest decisions of the Eurasian Economic Union concerning certain types of electric vehicles.

At the same time, the published text of the resolution does not indicate whether the quota allocated to Kyrgyzstan or the conditions for duty-free electric vehicle imports have been changed. The document makes a reference amendment to the existing procedure and incorporates the new EEC Council Decision No. 79.

The resolution is subject to official publication. It will enter into force simultaneously with EEC Council Decision No. 79 of July 9, 2026.
