Meanwhile, wholesale trade turnover reached 547,148.9 billion soms in January—July 2026. In real terms, however, it declined by 4.7 percent compared with the same period last year.

In July 2026 alone, wholesale trade fell by 15.8 percent year-on-year.

The combined turnover of wholesale and retail trade, vehicle and motorcycle repairs in Kyrgyzstan exceeded 1,149, 555.8 trillion soms, representing overall growth of 4 percent.

Bishkek traditionally accounted for the largest share of commercial activity, at 60.6 percent of the total, or 696,376.1 billion soms.
