According to the press service of the Internal Affairs Department of Osh region, the arrest took place on June 24. Officers from the anti-extremism and illegal migration unit of the Internal Affairs Department of Nookat district found and detained the woman, S.N., 43, a citizen of a neighboring country.

Investigators said that a criminal case was opened against her on April 23, 2024, under Article 378 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic (Illegal crossing of the state border), after which she was placed on a wanted list.

The suspect has been placed in a temporary detention facility. Investigative actions are ongoing.
