According to the City Hall, a project to build an ethnocenter is underway on the site of the old market. A 50-meter water protection zone along the river will be preserved.

Currently, only an office is being built on the site to inform potential investors and present the project. The next stage involves cleaning the area and dismantling the existing structures.

In the future, a modern ethnocenter is planned to be built there, reflecting the history of Osh, its national culture, and spiritual values. It will include facilities dedicated to historical heritage, including the Alymbek Datka Madrasah.

The City Hall urged residents to obtain information about the city’s development only from official sources.
