According to the Institute, tremors were recorded at 10:20 a.m.

The earthquake’s epicenter was located within Kyrgyzstan: 28 kilometers south of the village of Sary-Bulak, 85 kilometers southeast of the district center of Toktogul, 95 kilometers northeast of the city of Manas, and 165 kilometers southwest of Bishkek.

The tremors were not felt in populated areas of the country.
