Earlier, Energy Minister Altynbek Rysbekov announced the start of fuel supplies from China to Kyrgyzstan.

He also said that contracts had been signed for fuel imports from Belarus. According to the minister, the issue of transit through Russia has been resolved, and several railcars carrying fuel from Belarus have already arrived in Kyrgyzstan.

In addition, Rysbekov recalled the agreement signed with Kazakhstan. Kyrgyzstan is expected to receive 15,000–20,000 tonnes of fuel oil monthly. The fuel can be used as raw material for deep processing at Kyrgyz oil refineries, where it can be used to produce AI 92 gasoline and K4 and K5 environmental class diesel fuel.

Work is also underway to arrange fuel supplies from Uzbekistan.
