The visit was organized on the instructions of President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov by the president’s press secretary Askat Alagozov as part of efforts to further strengthen Kyrgyzstan — Azerbaijan cooperation in the information and humanitarian spheres.

The press tour program is aimed at expanding professional cooperation between media representatives of the two countries, strengthening mutual trust, and developing public diplomacy, which plays an important role in bringing the fraternal peoples of Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan closer together.

During their stay in the country, Azerbaijani journalists will learn about the work of leading Kyrgyz media outlets, modern approaches in the field of state information policy, and take part in a cultural and familiarization program featuring visits to the country’s natural and tourist attractions.

The implementation of such initiatives contributes to establishing long-term professional contacts between journalists, creating an objective information environment, strengthening humanitarian ties, and further developing bilateral cooperation.

Previously, similar familiarization visits were successfully organized for representatives of leading media outlets from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan.

The consistent implementation of such projects reflects Kyrgyzstan’s commitment to strengthening good-neighborly relations, mutual understanding, and trusted dialogue with regional partners and friendly countries.
