Mamataliev said Kyrgyzstan — Uzbekistan relations have reached a new level in recent years, while interparliamentary cooperation has become one of the pillars of bilateral ties.

According to him, it is now important to pass these achievements on to the younger generation and strengthen relations through joint initiatives.

The Speaker proposed moving beyond one-time meetings and establishing regular cooperation between young parliamentarians from the two countries.

«Youth are not only the future of our states, but also active participants in their development,» Marlen Mamataliev said.

The forum participants discussed further cooperation between young MPs of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, youth participation in socio-political processes, and support for joint projects.

Following the forum, the sides expressed support for maintaining regular dialogue and exchanging experience among young parliamentarians.
