The estimated indexation coefficient was 1.13, based on the growth of the average salary and consumer prices for 2025. However, given the budgetary capacity of the Social Fund, it was decided to increase it to 1.2.

After indexation, the average pension will be 12,898 soms. On average, pensioners will receive additional 1,753 soms, or approximately 16 percent of the current payment.

According to preliminary estimates, there will be 832,400 pensioners in the Kyrgyz Republic by October 1.

Earlier, Cabinet Chairman Adylbek Kasymaliev announced that the minimum pension would increase from 7,100 to 8,800 soms starting October 1. Details of the indexation, including its cost and the average increase, were not disclosed at the time.
