Kyrgyzstan has ranked 78th in the latest Global Passport Index (GPI).
Unlike the traditional Henley Passport Index, which focuses solely on visa-free mobility, the GPI evaluates three key factors: mobility, investment attractiveness, and quality of life.
Kyrgyzstan’s position across these criteria is as follows:
Investment: The country offers stable conditions within its category, attracting the attention of regional investors thanks to flexible tax rates.
Quality of life: Key limiting factors remain the level of healthcare and infrastructure development compared to European leaders.
Mobility: Citizens of Kyrgyzstan can travel to 60 countries without obtaining a visa in advance, or with a visa upon arrival.
Among Central Asian countries, Kazakhstan leads the ranking in 62nd place, followed by Uzbekistan (79th), Tajikistan (83rd), and Turkmenistan (90th).
The top three positions are occupied by Singapore, Japan, and South Korea.
Afghanistan ranks last in the index, taking 104th place.
