The purpose of the adopted bill is to improve the quorum and voter turnout. As you know, turnout in Bishkek is usually very low—no more than 15 percent,» Marlen Mamataliev said.

He added that, according to the procedure, the president should sign the relevant bill and thus approve the election date.
