Investigators said the drugs were moved along established transit routes from Afghanistan through several countries before entering Kyrgyzstan for further transportation.
During the special operation, SCNS officers used modern technical equipment, drones from the Border Service, and canine units from the State Customs Service to identify trafficking routes and individuals involved in the scheme.
About 50 kilograms of narcotic substances were seized from illegal circulation.
Two citizens of Kyrgyzstan suspected of involvement in the trafficking network were detained. By court order, they were placed in the pretrial detention center of the SCNS.
A criminal case has been opened under Article 282 of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan. Authorities said efforts are ongoing to identify all members of the international network and shut down remaining trafficking channels.
