The headquarters includes representatives of the press services of government agencies and organizations involved in preparing for and holding the Games.
Its main tasks are to coordinate the work of press services, organize logistics and comprehensive media coverage of events, and facilitate interaction between organizers and media representatives. The headquarters is expected to provide journalists and the public with timely, reliable and officially verified information.
As of now, 250 foreign and around 700 Kyrgyz journalists have been accredited to cover the VI World Nomad Games.
Given the large number of media representatives, particular attention will be paid to coordinating their work, providing information promptly and creating the necessary conditions for covering the Games.
Press centers will be opened at the main venues. On the day of the opening ceremony, the press center will operate at Bishkek Arena. In Issyk-Kul region, media representatives will be accommodated at a press center based at Gazprom health and fitness complex. Another press center will be opened at Kyrchyn ethnocultural complex.
The media headquarters will prepare and distribute official statements, comments, photographs and video materials, as well as coordinate journalists’ work.
In the event of incidents or emergencies, headquarters staff, together with the relevant services, will collect and verify information before issuing official statements.
The headquarters will also continuously monitor media and social media publications, identify inaccurate information and, when necessary, provide official clarification.
