According to the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic, the laboratory is part of the Department of Chemicalization, Plant Protection and Quarantine under the Ministry of Agriculture.

The ministry noted that the accreditation confirms the quality of the laboratory’s testing, the reliability of its results and its technical competence.

«The laboratory tests mineral, organic and organomineral fertilizers, soil and water, as well as pesticide and agrochemical residues in plant products,» the Ministry of Agriculture said.

The accreditation is expected to help ensure the safety of agricultural products and improve the quality of agrochemical laboratory services in the country.
