According to the ministry’s press service, teachers will be selected through a competitive process, with particular attention to the quality of education.

During her working visit, the minister inspected the progress of construction work and the condition of the classrooms.

In the new academic year, the Talas branch will open its doors to 96 students enrolled in grades 7 and 8. The lyceum has a total capacity of 920 students. A dormitory with 168 beds is also planned.

Another branch will be opened in Manas city.

The first presidential lyceum for gifted children, Akylman, was opened in Cholpon-Ata in 2023.
