According to the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, a mudflow occurred on July 23 in Kara-Bulak village of Suu-Bashy rural area in Batken district.
At the time of the incident, children were staying at Altyn-Beshik camp under the supervision of a teacher and a doctor.
At around 3.10 a.m., all campers were evacuated to a safe location.
