On the first day of the visit, July 22, official talks were held between the heads of the two countries’ foreign ministries. The parties thoroughly discussed a wide range of pressing issues on the bilateral agenda, including priority areas of cooperation in the political, trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian spheres.

During the meeting, the high intensity of the political dialogue, including regular contacts at the level of the heads of state, parliaments, and governments of the two countries, was particularly noted. In this context, the sides reviewed the progress of the agreements reached during previous high-level visits, reaffirming their commitment to continue their joint efforts to elevate Kyrgyzstan — Belarus relations to a qualitatively new level.

The practical part of the talks focused on clarifying the schedule of upcoming events and identifying promising areas of cooperation.

Specifically, in the trade and economic sphere, the parties discussed possible dates for the next meeting of the joint intergovernmental commission, and at the foreign ministry level, they discussed the organization of the next round of inter-ministerial consultations.

Particular attention was paid to strengthening cooperation within international and regional organizations, including the UN, CIS, EAEU, SCO, CSTO, and other integration associations.

In this context, the Belarusian Foreign Minister congratulated his Kyrgyz counterpart on the historic victory in the elections for non-permanent membership of the UN Security Council for 2027–2028. Developing the theme of international cooperation, the Minister invited the Belarusian side to participate in the Second Mountain Summit in 2027.

At the end of the meeting, Belarusian Foreign Minister M. Ryzhenkov invited Kulubaev to pay an official visit to Belarus at his convenience.
