Preliminary investigation data indicate that a Hyundai Palisade and a Chevrolet, traveling toward Karakol, crossed into the oncoming lane and collided with a Honda Stream, Chevrolet Spark, and Volkswagen Vento.
Blogger Ertai Iskakov reported that the suspect involved in the fatal crash was allegedly driving at a speed of about 140 kilometers per hour. According to him, the vehicle entering the oncoming lane was the cause of the collision. The blogger published a video showing a grieving man embracing the body of his deceased daughter.
Following the tragedy, Ertai Iskakov called for stricter penalties for serious traffic violations. He believes that drivers who significantly exceed the speed limit or enter the opposite lane should face license suspension.
