According to the decree, the deadlines for completing certain stages of the process, previously set for March 1 and June 1, 2026, have been moved to December 15, 2026.

These changes are aimed at completing the state recognition of citizens’ property rights to land plots covered by the land amnesty. The decree will come into force in seven days.

The Land Amnesty is a state program that allows for the legalization of property rights to land plots and residential buildings built in areas of chaotic development before December 1, 2021, if the application for registration was submitted before July 1, 2025. The program applies to properties that previously could not be registered due to lack of necessary documents.

The authorities initially planned to complete the main land amnesty activities in 2026, but due to the large number of outstanding applications and the need to complete the registration process, the deadline was extended.
