According to him, interregional cooperation remains an important element of bilateral cooperation between Belarus and Kyrgyzstan. Direct contacts between the regions of the two countries have been established and are being successfully implemented.
«We believe it is necessary to further expand this practice, using new formats of interaction such as regional forums. Work is currently underway to prepare and develop the content of the first Forum of Regions of Belarus and Kyrgyzstan, which will be held in Minsk this fall,» Alexander Turchin said.
