«Today, digital transformation is one of the key priorities of the state policy of the Kyrgyz Republic and an important factor for the country’s sustainable socio-economic development. Kyrgyzstan is consistently pursuing a course toward the development of an innovative economy, modernization of the financial system, improvement of public services, and expansion of access to modern financial services for citizens and businesses.

Kyrgyzstan is steadily introducing digital solutions and building a modern financial ecosystem based on technology, transparency, inclusiveness, and trust,» the head of the Cabinet said in his speech.

Adylbek Kasymaliev noted the active development of mobile financial solutions, electronic public services, and modern banking technologies, as well as systematic efforts to develop digital financial infrastructure, improve instant payment mechanisms, and integrate state information systems.

«One of the key elements of digital transformation has become the interdepartmental electronic interaction system Tunduk, which ensures online data exchange between government agencies, financial institutions, and other participants in the digital ecosystem. I would also like to highlight the Digital Som project, which covers almost all sectors of the country’s economy. We are confident that after its full implementation, the Digital Som will ensure the speed, transparency, and security of payments throughout the country,» he said.

The head of the Cabinet added that government agencies, together with representatives of the financial market, are actively working on the development and improvement of anti-fraud mechanisms, strengthening the cyber resilience of the financial system, and increasing the digital literacy of the population.

An important step in the development of the digital economy was the enactment of the Digital Code of the Kyrgyz Republic in February 2026, which establishes a modern regulatory framework for digital transformation, the use of artificial intelligence, security, and data protection.

Concluding his speech, Adylbek Kasymaliev emphasized that the Kyrgyz Republic is open to international cooperation in the field of digital technologies and is interested in partnerships, investments, and the exchange of experience.
