According to participants, entry is organized through Face ID and electronic tickets. The testing is designed to assess how quickly visitors can pass security checks and find the required entrances, floors and seating sections.
A test ticket costs a symbolic 1 som. After passing the control, visitors can tour the arena and then leave.
Footage published online shows large crowds gathering at the entrances. The facial recognition system is operational: after completing Face ID verification, visitors are directed to the appropriate entrances and seating blocks.
Inside the arena, signs help visitors navigate between sections, floors and entrance areas. The footage also shows elevators and passageways leading to spectator sections.
Some work is still underway at the venue.
The testing is intended to show how the arena’s infrastructure handles large crowds ahead of major events.
Bishkek Arena is a new large-scale international-standard stadium with a capacity of around 51,000 spectators, built to host major sporting and cultural events. One of the first major events at the venue will be the opening ceremony of the World Nomad Games on August 31, featuring a parade of participating teams and a concert program. A separate official opening of the arena itself is planned for later in the form of a large-scale show.
