According to the institute, the seismic activity was recorded at 2:21 a.m. on August 18.
The earthquake’s epicenter was located in Kyrgyzstan in the Keolyu Too mountain range area, 22 kilometers southwest of Maily-Saz village and 52 kilometers southeast of Karakol.
The earthquake was not felt in populated areas of the country.
