The relevant Resolution No. 554 was adopted on August 17, 2026, the Financial Market Regulation and Supervision Service reported.

According to the agency, the document amends the Cabinet’s November 22, 2024 resolution. The changes are aimed at eliminating inconsistencies in regulatory legal acts and establishing a unified approach to determining the amount of insurance payments.

The amendments are intended to eliminate duplication and discrepancies in calculating compensation amounts, as well as provide greater legal certainty for insurance companies and people injured in road accidents.

The resolution will enter into force in 10 days after its official publication.
