According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the detainee, 20, indicated the locations of previously organized stashes during the investigation. Law enforcement officers seized a total of 1,558 grams of Afghan hashish.

A criminal case has been opened under Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic (illegal production of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and their analogues for the purpose of sale).

The seized narcotic substance has been sent for forensic chemical analysis.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that investigative and operational-search measures are currently ongoing to identify other individuals who may be involved in this crime.

This is not the first arrest made as part of Canal-Yantarny Bereg anti-drug operation. Narcotics were also seized from a citizen during a search in Osh region.
