The incident occurred on August 12 near a residential building on Chui Avenue. Five rescuers from the Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for Bishkek were dispatched to the scene.

The man was lifted from the manhole using mountaineering equipment and handed over to police officers.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the man was in satisfactory condition and did not require medical assistance.
