Competing in the 72-kilogram weight category, the Kyrgyz wrestler defeated opponents from India, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, and Uzbekistan.
Bronze medals were won by Kyrgyz athletes Gulnura Tashtanbekova in the 65-kilogram category, Tancholpon Kybalbekova in the 57-kilogram category, and Aizharkyn Zhanybekova in the 76-kilogram category.
