The new regulation sets out how remote voting will be organized, how its results will be tabulated and published.

The document was developed in accordance with Articles 31 and 36 of the constitutional law

The CEC also approved regulations governing a working group responsible for receiving and verifying election documents submitted by presidential candidates.

The group will be tasked with checking candidates’ documents and verifying the authenticity of voters’ signatures. The regulation sets out the procedure for forming the working group, conducting its meetings and documenting the results of its checks.

The Central Election Commission continues to establish the regulatory framework for the upcoming presidential election, including the remote voting mechanism and procedures for verifying candidates’ documents.
