A total of 379 students from 97 countries took part in the competition.

Kyrgyzstan was represented by four participants:

Ramazan Mananov, Ambassador International School;

Alikhan Aidarbekov, Ambassador International School;

Abdullakhan Abdirasulov, Ambassador International School;

Yan Bobrus, Gazprom Kyrgyzstan school.

The Kyrgyzstan’s team won two silver and two bronze medals, achieving a 100 percent medal rate.

In the team standings, Kyrgyzstan ranked 20th among 97 countries. The Ministry of Education noted that this was the country’s best team result in the history of its participation in the IOI.

The team’s coaches were Kylychbek Uraimov, Aidar Munduzbaev, Vyacheslav Muravyov, Anatoly Ignatiev and Mederbek Osmonov.
