According to the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision of Kyrgyzstan, in just the past three days, from August 11 to 13, specialists removed 6,800 meters of old synthetic nets and 140 kilograms of waste.
The measures are aimed at improving the environmental condition of Issyk-Kul, preserving biodiversity and reducing the impact of illegal fishing.
