The meeting’s agenda included ensuring stable supplies of food wheat, transit of Russian grain through Kazakhstan, supplies of mineral fertilizers, and developing cooperation in agricultural processing, digitalization, and livestock breeding.

The ministers expressed their willingness to join forces and work with Kyrgyz and Kazakh agricultural holdings to address the issue of food wheat supplies.

The Kyrgyz side also proposed finding solutions for the uninterrupted transit of Russian grain through Kazakhstan and expressed interest in expanding purchases of Kazakh wheat.

The parties also discussed opportunities for attracting investment in agricultural processing, development of logistics infrastructure, digitalization of agriculture, and livestock breeding.

Following the meeting, the ministers confirmed their readiness for further coordination and implementation of specific joint projects.
