In Kazakhstan, growth was 21.3 percent, and in Belarus — 9.7 percent. Russia demonstrated a 28.5 percent decline in trading volume.

The stock exchanges of other EAEU countries also maintained positive momentum last year:

Kazakhstan International Exchange (AIX) — growth by 59.2 percent;

Armenia Stock Exchange — growth by 48.3 percent;

The Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange — growth by 26.2 percent;

The Moscow Exchange — growth by 25 percent.

In absolute terms, the Kyrgyz stock market lags behind the region’s largest exchanges; however, in terms of the growth rate of organized foreign exchange transactions, the country demonstrates one of the strongest dynamics in the Union.
