According to the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Bishkek, officers from the Service for Countering Extremism and Illegal Migration identified and detained three foreign citizens on July 22: M.K., 30, Ch.Sh., 42, and D.G., 38.

The detainees were charged under Article 126 (Petty hooliganism) and Article 83 (Smoking in prohibited places) of Kyrgyzstan’s Code of Offenses. They have been placed in the temporary detention facility of the Internal Affairs Department of Pervomaisky district pending further proceedings.

Police said the foreign nationals will be deported from Kyrgyzstan once the procedural process is completed.

Earlier, a video circulated on social media showing a man urinating in a public place at the intersection of Logvinenko and Bokonbaev streets in Bishkek.
