According to him, the Kyrgyz delegation discussed measures to prevent fuel and lubricants shortages in the republic with members of the Russian government.

Daniyar Amangeldiev noted that the Russian side assured that they would

«fulfill their obligations to supply fuel and lubricants to the extent possible.»

To mitigate the risk of shortages, the parties agreed to transit fuel through Russia for Kyrgyzstan, which the republic could purchase from other countries.
