According to police, officers received information that a resident identified as M. was involved in drug trafficking. During a special operation in Kara-Suu district, he was detained with 44.36 grams of a dark brown substance.

During interrogation, the suspect stated that he purchased the drug from a resident of Aravan district identified as S. During a search of his residence, officers discovered three stashes of a dark-colored substance with a distinctive odor.

According to a forensic chemical analysis, the seized substance was found to be hashish weighing 1,611 grams.

A criminal case has been opened under Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic

«Illegal manufacture of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and their analogues for the purpose of sale.»

By order of the Aravan District Court, both suspects were taken into custody for two months.

Investigators are currently identifying other possible participants in the criminal scheme and the channels for illegal drug distribution.
