According to the National Bank, financial flows from abroad are growing monthly:

in January, the figure was $220.3 million;

in February — up to $224.2 million;

At the same time, a stable flow of funds in the opposite direction is being recorded. From January to March 2026, $59.6 million were transferred from the republic. In January, the outflow amounted to $17.7 million, rising to $18.9 million in February.

As a result, the net financial inflow into the economy for the first quarter exceeded $640.1 million.

A local maximum was recorded in March 2026: the total volume of incoming remittances amounted to $255.2 million.

The vast majority of funds, traditionally, were transferred from CIS countries—$235.5 million. Russia remains the undisputed leader, with labor migrants sending $227.7 million.

At least $19.7 million arrived from non-CIS countries, with the United States being the main source ($15 million).

Of the $23 million transferred abroad in March, the bulk also went to CIS countries—$21 million. Of this amount, $20.7 million went to Russia.

At least $1.9 million was sent to non-CIS countries, with Turkey being the main recipient ($1.6 million).
