«On the Protection and Use of Plant Life» and «On the Development of Agriculture.»

The document permits the cultivation and growth of medicinal plants for agricultural purposes.

The list includes valerian, calendula, sage, saffron, ferula, aconite, arnebia, rhodiola rosea, licorice, sea buckthorn, rose hips, barberry, thyme, chamomile, St. John’s wort, and lavender.

The law also imposes restrictions on the cultivation of aconite near residential areas and public facilities.

Furthermore, the amendments allow the use of wild medicinal plants for further cultivation in agriculture.

Amendments have also been made to the law on agricultural development. The authorities hope this will allow for the development of medicinal plant production, selection, and new areas of agricultural business.

The law will come into force in ten days.
