According to the study, the trust rating of Uzbekistan’s leader Shavkat Mirziyoyev stood at 8 percent, while Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan scored 7 percent. The leaders of Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, and Georgia each received 5 percent, while the Presidents of Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, and Moldova each scored 4 percent.

Ilona Gezalyan, head of the International Projects practice at the VCIOM Analytical Center, explained that trust ratings are shaped by several factors, including media presence, the tone of coverage, and the overall attitude toward the country.

The survey was conducted in April 2026 among 1,600 Russian respondents aged 18 and older.
