The new season of the Women's Football League competitions in Tajikistan will begin on April 30, according to the Football Federation of Tajikistan.

Ahead of the championship, the league held an extended meeting with team representatives and coaches. Organizational matters, the competition calendar, and measures to improve the quality of matches were discussed. Particular attention was paid to the development of women's football in the regions.

The director of the Women's Football League of Tajikistan, Suhrob Ashurov, explained the formula for the new season to participants and answered questions about the regulations.

Six teams will compete for medals in the ninth Tajikistan Championship: CSKA-SSShOR (Dushanbe), GUSSh "Vakhsh" (Bokhtar), "Beshkent" (Nosiri Khusrav), "Barkchi" (Gissar), "Pakhtakor" (Kabadiyan), and "Chashma" (Shakhritus). The tournament will be held in four rounds.

The U17 Girls' Championship will feature 13 teams divided into three groups. In the first stage, they will play four round-robin matches, after which the group winners and the best runner-up will advance to the finals.

The U15 category will feature 17 teams divided into four groups. The competition will be held in three rounds, with only the group winners advancing to the finals.

A girls' under-13 championship has also been launched with the support of the FIFA League Development program. It will feature 25 teams divided into five groups. Matches will be played in double round-robin format, with the group winners advancing to the final round.

The teams are provided with all necessary equipment, including game and dress uniforms, boots, balls, and training equipment. The project aims to expand participation in women's football and develop a future reserve team.

The new season is expected to be an important stage in the development of women's football in Tajikistan.
