As a result of the accident, one Kyrgyzstani, I.A.A., 60, was injured and hospitalized at the Shet district hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment. Two Kyrgyz citizens, I.G.V., 63, and E.E.Yu., 52, died at the scene. The relatives of the deceased have taken their bodies for subsequent transportation to Kyrgyzstan.

Kazakh authorities have opened a criminal case over the incident, and an investigation is underway.

Since receiving information about the accident, the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Kazakhstan has maintained contact with the relatives of the deceased and the injured person, the medical facility and the relevant Kazakh authorities. The embassy is providing the necessary consular and legal assistance.

The matter remains under the supervision of the ministry and the embassy.
