The reconstruction of Manas International Airport began in May 2025. As part of the project, the terminal complex was expanded by more than 22,000 square meters, the number of gates was increased from eight to 13, and the airport’s infrastructure was upgraded.

According to Samidinov, taxi services will have to meet established requirements. In particular, their fleets must consist of new, branded vehicles. He stressed that the airport does not plan to establish its own taxi service. Passenger transportation will be handled by specialized operators.

«We will work with operators because our core business is aviation,» he said.

Thus, only vehicles operated by taxi services that have signed the relevant agreements with Airports of Kyrgyzstan OJSC will be granted access to the airport grounds to transport passengers.
