According to Kasymaliev, preliminary estimates show that Kyrgyzstan’s GDP reached 1.172.7 trillion soms in the first seven months of 2026, posting real growth of 11.1 percent.
All key sectors contributed to economic growth. Construction recorded the strongest increase, rising by 60.6 percent, while services grew by 6.1 percent and agriculture by 6 percent.
Industrial output increased by 11.2 percent overall. By sector:
chemical production increased 2.9-fold;
refined petroleum production grew 1.8-fold;
vehicle production increased by 41.8 percent;
construction materials production rose by 33.6 percent;
mineral extraction grew by 16.9 percent;
pharmaceutical production increased by 13 percent;
basic metals production rose by 8.5 percent;
food production grew by 2.4 percent.
Kasymaliev described the economic performance as highly positive.
He added that Kyrgyzstan has recorded record growth in fixed-capital investment since the beginning of 2026. Total investment reached 238.3 billion soms, up 58.8 percent year-on-year. The increase was driven by both domestic sources, which grew 1.4-fold, and foreign sources, which increased 3.1-fold.
The meeting participants also focused on comprehensive support for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
The Cabinet of Ministers is implementing a range of government programs and concessional lending projects for domestic entrepreneurs.
According to preliminary data, in 2025, the gross value added generated by SMEs increased by 54.5 percent to 1.015 trillion soms, compared with 657.1 billion soms in 2024.
The SME sector’s share of GDP reached 51.4 percent, up 9.9 percentage points from 41.5 percent in 2024.
