According to the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, production is planned to begin with large-knockdown assembly, followed by a transition to small-knockdown assembly and a full production cycle.

The vehicles will be manufactured under the national BARS brand.

«The company’s products are intended both for the domestic market and for export to Central Asian countries and the Eurasian Economic Union. The company’s production capacity will be up to 10,000 vehicles per year,» the ministry explained.

The project is being implemented on a 15-hectare plot of land and is expected to create 100 jobs. The project is 75 percent complete.

The plant’s launch is scheduled for the third quarter of 2026. Financing is provided entirely by the project initiator. The state has provided the land plot.

However, the Ministry of Economy did not specify who exactly is initiating the project or the cost of launching production.
