The earthquake’s epicenter was located within the Kyrgyz Republic: 7 kilometers north of the village of Ottuk, 15 kilometers northeast of the village of Dzhergetal, 35 kilometers northwest of the city of Naryn, and 110 kilometers southwest of the village of Bokonbaevo.
The tremors measured approximately magnitude 3 in Ottuk and magnitude 2 in Dzhergetal.
