According to the Ministry of Economy, the investment agreement provides for the construction of a modern refinery with a design capacity of 450,000 tons of petroleum products per year, the creation of at least 300 new jobs, and at least 90 percent of the plant’s personnel will be citizens of Kyrgyzstan.

The Ministry of Economy is ready to provide the necessary support for the project within the framework of current legislation and facilitate its successful implementation.

Shao Peipei, General Director of Central Asia Energy LLC, noted that the agreement will involve $25 million in investment.

«The project plans to produce gasoline and diesel fuel of environmental classes K-5 and K-6, as well as bitumen and motor oils. We view Kyrgyzstan as a reliable partner. All production cycles will comply with Kyrgyz legislation, international standards, and ensure a high level of environmental safety. Job creation is a priority for us,» she said.

The first phase of the project is expected to be commissioned by the end of 2026.
