According to the Ministry of Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic, the forum’s theme is «The World at a Civilizational Turning Point: Together into the Future.»

The forum was founded in 1986 on the initiative of writer Chingiz Aitmatov and became one of the first global platforms for dialogue between cultures, civilizations, and ideas amid the crisis of the bipolar world and the threat of global confrontation.

Renowned scientists, Nobel laureates, researchers, prominent poets and writers, as well as government and public figures from more than 20 countries are expected to participate. In particular, the participation of Antje Grawe, Aktota Raimkulova, Nurlan Yermekbaev, Ali Khamraev, Vladimir Medinsky and others is expected.
