He was responding to a statement by MP Dastan Bekeshev, who noted that many citizens had requested an extension of the legalization period.

«The President of the Kyrgyz Republic also stated at a meeting with the public that this process could be extended. We need to provide people with accurate information, many questions remain unresolved. And what will happen to cars imported into the Kyrgyz Republic in 2025?» he said.

The Speaker also noted that a presidential decree extending the legalization period will soon be issued.

«I also asked that scooters, some of which entered the country illegally, be included in the legalization process,» Marlen Mamataliev added.
