The heads of state congratulated each other on the upcoming Kurman Ait and wished the peoples of both countries peace, well-being, and prosperity.

During the conversation, the parties discussed further development of bilateral cooperation and interaction within the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

Sadyr Japarov emphasized that Kyrgyzstan, as the SCO chair, attaches particular importance to strengthening the organization’s role in ensuring peace, trust, and cooperation.

The presidents noted the importance of the upcoming SCO summit in Kyrgyzstan and expressed interest in its successful holding.

Regarding the situation in the Middle East, Sadyr Japarov stated the need to resolve all issues exclusively through political and diplomatic means and expressed hope for a speedy stabilization of the situation in the region.

At the end of the conversation, the parties confirmed their readiness for the further development of Kyrgyzstan — Iran relations.
