According to the agency, the Tajik delegation presented a number of scientific reports on the development of the industry. Akbar Murodzoda, Director of the Republican Scientific Oncology Center, noted the importance of introducing modern treatment methods, including minimally invasive surgeries, which reduce tissue trauma and shorten patient recovery times.

Particular attention was given to the adoption of the State Program for the Prevention and Control of Cancer in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2025–2029. The program aims to develop an early diagnosis system, improve treatment, and reduce cancer mortality.

During the visit, an Action Plan for Developing Cooperation between Specialized Institutions in Tajikistan and Belarus was also signed. The document provides for expanded scientific and practical collaboration, the exchange of specialist expertise, the introduction of modern diagnostic and treatment methods, and the implementation of joint educational programs and internships.

The Ministry noted that the Tajik delegation's participation in the congress demonstrates the sustainable development of the country's oncology sector and the expansion of international cooperation in this area.
