According to him, 60.5 billion soms of the total is allocated for salaries.

«As it is known, education workers received a salary increase from April 1, 2026. All vacation pay had been fully paid starting June 1,» he said.

Mukhtarbek Baimurzaev noted that 744 million soms have been allocated in the budget for textbook printing, including 5 million soms for Braille textbooks.

A total of 50 million soms has been allocated to equip schools with computers. Procurement is currently underway.

Another 65 million soms has been earmarked for educational furniture and desks. They will be delivered to schools by the start of the new academic year.

«Another 715 million soms has been allocated for laptops for teachers. This is the third stage of purchasing computer equipment for educators. During the previous two stages, around 50,000 laptops were purchased. We will deliver them to schools by the end of 2026,» the deputy minister added.

It was previously reported that 16,000 teachers will receive laptops this year.
